I had fun making this sculpture using the projector both as a motor to drive the rotating mirrors, and source of image. My life-long love of the medium of film and film equipment in instilled here in the second of what I call 'cinetic sculpture'. The image as it drifts across the paper evokes fleeting memory, intermingled with the silhouettes of the spool and the strip of film itself. I wanted to create a sculpture inspired by a love of the structural aspect of film making and a recurrent dream I have.
