Tentworks

Tentworks was conceived and produced by Theatre-Rites as one of their highly successful interactive performance installations for young children. It was produced as part of the Ross on Wye International Festival. Artist Stephen Williams and I were given the brief by to make interactive works, all to be below ground level to go in a large tent. Whilst three of my pieces worked for most of the festival the two that used film projectors overheated due to the heat wave. Sub-Face was the most popular and the technically simplest of the five. One of the films was Max Cooking and showed my son, then 8 years cooking sausages and baked beans on a camp-stove
